I am a Ph.D. candidate in Systems Engineering, exploring the intersection of Engineering Systems Design and Quantum Computing. My research focuses on harnessing the power of quantum computing to tackle large-scale and complex engineering design systems, aiming to develop innovative approaches for optimization and decision-making in modern engineering frameworks. Driven by curiosity and a passion for emerging technologies, I strive to bridge the gap between traditional systems engineering and the transformative potential of quantum algorithms. Through my work, I aim to advance the understanding of how quantum solutions can reshape the design and analysis of complex systems.

Experience

PhD Research Assistant - Quantum Computing and Engineering Systems Design

Stevens Institute of Technology - Department of Systems and Enterprises

Working on the Hamiltonian representation of engineering systems design, leveraging advanced quantum algorithms to model and optimize complex, large-scale systems. Focusing on transforming traditional engineering design problems into quantum-compatible formulations, enabling more efficient exploration of design spaces and decision-making under uncertainty. Developing quantum-inspired methodologies for system optimization, analyzing computational performance compared to classical approaches, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to bridge the gap between quantum computing theory and practical engineering applications.

Interests

Apart from being a web developer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. In the winter, I am an avid skier and novice ice climber. During the warmer months here in Colorado, I enjoy mountain biking, free climbing, and kayaking.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the front-end web development world.
